Last years first round pick Mule Black made his spring debut against New Orleans going 8 strong innings in the game. Black got a no decision in the game but struck out 5 and allowed 1 run in the game.
Black has been on the fast track in the Bombers farm system. He is expected to start in AA this year. His current pro recorded is 11-0 with a 1.21 era in 13 games. Mule is currently ranked as the Bombers top prospect. Alexander, Schofield and Cairo will all be getting starts as well in the next week. With the 4 of them expecting to be the Bombers rotation for years to come.
